With the same spirit of Hope, Love and Peace that was ever present on that very first Christmas morn so many years ago. Sawyer Brown and the Sawyer Brown Fan club and the entire staff wish to say "Thank You" to our faithful and loyal fans for a great and successful 1995!
We thank you and appreciate your patience and tolerance through the changes that took place during the year, for the mistakes that you so kindly overlooked and for the caring of the "guys".
May God richly bless you and your loved ones through the coming year and may we all remember the true meaning of Christmas!
The Announcement to Joseph
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with the child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

For the past 15 years, Sawyer Brown has consistently made over 250 appearances per year. In 1996, touring dates will number 75. Sawyer Brown will be taking it easy this year, giving everyone a well deserved break from the road and precious time with family and friends. 'Round Here movin' on up!
The Christmas season finds the current Sawyer Brown single, 'Round Here, movin' steadily up the charts. Currently it resides at number 43 on Billboard and has jumped from number 39 up to number 33 on R&R.
We thought we would share with some of our newer club members what kind of promotion goes into the release of a new single. Prior to the release date, full page ads are usually placed in trade magazines such as Billboard, Gavin Report, R&R as well as Music City News for the fans. Promotional mailers are sent to radio and TV, making program directors aware that a new Sawyer Brown single, or video, is on it's way. When allowed by the touring schedule, TV appearances are also made simultaneous to the release. Interviews make up a another big part of the promotional wave. Some interviews are done in person but a majority are done from the road over the telephone. In interviews duties are shared by all members of the band.
One of the most important elements in the successful promotion of a single are the Fan Club member. Your tremendous support does not go unnoticed. Early indicators from radio tell us whether or not we have hit on our hands based on the number of requests your are making to your local radio stations. Your concentrated effort let's them know that you want to hear Sawyer Brown, and these phone calls are the determining factor in whether or not a single becomes a hit. With your help, 'Round Here can hit number 1...what a great way to start out a new year!
